<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Within the framework of the generalization of Freund – Nambu scalar-tensor theory of gravity, a massless scalar field is considered, the source of which is the trace of its own energy-momentum tensor. For the cosmological problem, numerical solutions of field equations were obtained, with the help of which the dependencies of the Hubble parameter and the photometric distance to the observed sources on red-shift were constructed. To the consistency of the models with observational data, contours of confidence intervals for model parameters were constructed.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>скалярное поле</kwd><kwd>скалярно-тензорная теория гравитации</kwd><kwd>космологическая задача</kwd><kwd>параметр Хаббла</kwd><kwd>красное смещение</kwd><kwd>доверительный интервал</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>scalar field</kwd><kwd>scalar-tensor theory of gravity</kwd><kwd>the cosmological problem</kwd><kwd>Hubble parameter</kwd><kwd>red shift</kwd><kwd>confidence interval</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Работа выполнена при поддержке Белорусского республиканского фонда фундаментальных исследований (гранты № Ф22МЦ-005, Ф22М-052)</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The work was supported by grants no.
