The Journal was founded in 1965. Before 1998, it was out under the titles: “Vescì Akademìì navuk BSSR. Seryâ fìzìka-matèmatyčnyh navuk” (Proceedings of the Academy of Sciences of BSSR. Physics and Mathematics Series, ISSN 0002-3574), published from 1965 to 1992, and “Vescì Akademìì navuk Belarusì. Seryâ fìzìka-matèmatyčnyh navuk” (Proceedings of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Physics and Mathematics Series, ISSN 1024-591Х), published from 1992 to 1998. Since 1998 — it comes under its actual title. The Journal publishes the results of studies, conducted at The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (or other Belarusian and foreign science institutions and universities) in the main branches of mathematics, informatics, and general & theoretical physics. The Journal is included in The List of Journals for Publication of the Results of Dissertation Research in the Republic of Belarus and in the database of Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). The editorial board and editorial council are represented by authoritative scientists from Belarus and other countries.
